Character's Outfit

I decided to create a wedding outfit for Katniss Everdeen. In the book, Katniss had to try on multiple wedding dresses for the Capitol and others to view and vote on. Considering her stylists taste and previous outfits they've created for her, I imagine her wedding dress would be unique but gorgeous. In the book Katniss states that there are six different gowns to try on and each one "requires its own headpiece, shoes, jewelry, hair, makeup, setting, and lighting.  Creamy lace and pink roses and ringlets.  Ivory satin and gold tattoos and greenery.  A sheath of diamonds and jeweled veil and moonlight..." I chose the dress in the above picture because it was a creamy rose color and was also very unique.

Stand Up!

            I have chosen the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. This Foundation is the world’s leader in the search for a cure for cystic fibrosis. They fund more CF research than any other organization, and nearly every CF drug available today was made possible because of Foundation support. The focus of this foundation is to support the development of new drugs to fight the disease, improve the quality of life for those with CF, and ultimately to find a cure. I chose this organization because I see my aunt suffer with Cystic Fibrosis on a daily basis. It's also one of the most common and life threatening chronic lung diseases in children and young adults. I feel like this is an amazing organization!
